Donations needed for Canadian Voice For Animals Foundation ( CVFAF )

FROM OUR COLLEAGUE EARLE: I cannot believe my bad luck. I just discovered that not all of my programmes were transferred to this new computer, and I have buy another programme so that I can download my Homestead Site Builder. I have also lost all of my website backup pages that were on the Front Page programme that was already in my old computer when I bought it…I still hope that everyone on our mailing list will send in donations as we are in dire-need of donations as we have new rescues and our vet bill is outrageous…I can go to the Library every day to check my mail, as all library members can use their computers for free and up to two hours.
Thank you to everyone who sent in donations.

Meet Spirit, a Husky from Costa Rica who needs to come to Vancouver, can you help?

Hey everyone, meet Spirit. She was rescued from a puppy mill here in Costa Rica that’s breeding Huskies, and as much as her caretakers have been trying to make life as comfortable as possible for her, the only way to stop her suffering from overheating, fleas, ticks and major skin sensitivities is to get her to a cooler climate that she is more suited for. We’re working to raise enough money to get her back to Vancouver with me in May so that she can get back to being a happy dog, and with your help we’ll be able to make it happen! Please share this fundraiser with your community and if you can, make a contribution. Every bit helps and will go to her transportation, permits, airplane fees and a kennel. Thank you for the support!! ♥ ♥ ♥ – with Tim X Rusmisel.

Donate to Soi Dog Foundation

Please Donate to the Soi Dog Foundation rescuing dogs from the flooding in Thailand.
Your donation goes directly towards saving the lives of the animal flood victims. While the flood has had a devastating effect on the human population, its consequences for the animals are far greater.Flood waters have reached up to 2 meters in some areas, with the majority of areas covered by 50 centimetres or more of water. For the dogs and cats, this is an extremely serious amount. It is common for the rescuers to see dogs swimming with literally no safe place of refuge, surrounded only by flood waters. Some emergency shelter facilities have even become flooded and the animals have had to be moved to other rescue centers.

We will try to keep you updated on the situation as time allows. For current updates please visit our Facebook page at:

If you have not seen it, you may wish to watch the full length “Soi Dogs” documentary. It is an enjoyable documentary and will give you further insights into the day to day operations at Soi Dog. The movie can be seen at:

Please, spread the word concerning Soi Dog Sponsorship Program:
This is the most effective way to help the dogs and cats living at the shelter, that have not been adopted.

All the best, and again many thanks for your support at this most critical point in time.
